Editing the episode is only half the job. Then there's the title, the show notes, the chapters, the social post and the newsletter, and they all have to be written before anyone can hear it. Here's how to get them written for you, from what was actually said.
What you get
When you export from Edit The Pod, you land in the Publish Pack. It's your finished audio or video plus everything you need to get it out into the world, all written from your edited episode:
- Title suggestions
- Show notes, ready for Spotify and Apple Podcasts
- Chapters, with times that match your edited episode
- A social post
- A blog post and newsletter intro
- Quotes
- The full transcript, with your cuts and your speaker names
- SRT and VTT captions, and artwork for video episodes
Step by step
- When you've finished editing, click Export at the top of the editor. That opens the Publish Pack.
- Read over the titles, show notes and social post. Click any of them to change the words, use Tweak to give the AI a nudge, or Regenerate to have another go at just that part.
- Chapters are off until you want them. Tick Chapters in the download list and say yes to Turn on chapters? to switch them on for that podcast.
- Tick what you'd like in Select deliverables, then click Download Publish Pack. It all comes down in one zip file.
- Use the quick launch buttons to open Spotify for Creators, Apple Podcasts Connect or YouTube Studio, and paste it all in.
Make it sound like you
Every show has its own way of writing show notes. Edit the AI Instructions at the top left of the Publish Pack and the writing follows them for every episode of that podcast: your sign off, your links, how long you like things, the lot.
Click Save as default and the same deliverables are ticked next time you export from that podcast.
